DRIPPINGS
"I am obsessed with the explosive forces of nature." - Shinkichi Tajiri
The Red Brick series dated from 1956 to 1965 and overlapped a series called Drippings. These drippings coincided with the birth of his two daughters and carried titles such as Germination, Seed and Blossom. These sculptures were formed and brazed together from the spillage of bronze while casting.
